Digital Publishing Australia was founded by freelance journalist and digital content developer, Alex Harris. Alex has had a career in the media and public relations industries in Australia and the United States. The founding editor and publisher of North America’s first finance and business journal for women, Alex won the Chicago Women in Publishing award in 1994 and the National Association of Women Business Owners New Venture Award in 1995.

Designing websites since 2000, Alex also holds an Australian Innovation Patent for an online business process (awarded 2001), and is creator of the award-winning crowdsourcing research website KoalaDiaries, now known as www.koalatracker.com.au. 

Alex is the author of the book, Reputation at Risk, and a contributor to the Management Press book, She Said What, and writes the blog, Reputation Report, which focuses on organisational reputational risk, corporate social responsibility, business ethics and corporate governance.
